Funeral services for Mrs. Joe (Edna) Carder, 85, were at TL Baptist Nov 20 with Rev J K Sherman officiating. She died Nov 16 in Mobridge Hospital. Interment was in TL cemetery. Casketbearers: Joe Fisher, Clarence Lippert, Frank Maciejewski Jr, Bud Prann, William Reum, John J Schweitzer. Kesling FH in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Carder was born Jan 14, 1885, at Wakefield, NE. She married Joseph Carder at Yankton in 1907. In 1918 they moved to a farm near TL and in 1932 moved into town.

She is survived by six daughters: Mildred McClelland of Miles City, MT; Harriet (Henry) Noel of Concord, CA; Vera (Ray) LaPlante of Kent, WA; Eileen (Morris) Hyde of Hastings, NE; Evelyn (Bud) Hanley of Pinole, CA; Kay Smith of Hysham, MT; three sons: Clarence M of Omaha, NE; C Wesley of Emerson, NE; Robert of Lincoln, NE.
