William Macomber Served at Police Chief (Marshal) in the Village of Northville, Michigan from 1881 to 1885, again in 1888 to 1889, and finally from 1899 to 1900 for a total of 9 years. Served Wayne County, Michigan for many years as a Probate Court Commissioner. His family, father, mother brothers and sisters all lived in Northville, Michigan and most are buried at Rural Hill Cemetery, Northville, Wayne Co., Michigan
