Services for Mrs. Lois Best Leach, 92 of Monroe will be 1:00PM Monday, January 6, 2014 at the Dunn Baptist Church in Dunn with the Rev. Bernard Duchesne and Rev. Charles Best officiating. Burial will be in the Mulhearn Memorial Cemetery in Monroe under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home-Rayville.
Mrs. Leach was born on May 16, 1921 in Rayville and passed from this life on January 3, 2014 in Monroe, LA. She was a retired cotton buyer and a member of Dunn Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband-Robert Leach; her parents-Sidney and Sally Rouse Best; 4 brothers-1 sister; and a grandson-Jack House Moses.
She is survived by a son-Bobby Leach and wife Fran of Summerfield, NC; a daughter-Dale Moses and husband Fred of Monroe; a brother-Leamon Best of Ruston; 4 grandchildren-Rhonda Gould and husband Tom, Brianna Beil and husband Jake, David Moses and wife Amy, and Tyler Moses; 10 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Allen Ray Best, Charles Best, Jeff Best, Corbett Best, Max Jackson, Tom Gould, and Jake Beil.
