Mrs. Betty Louise Durham born March 12, 1929 in Hutchinson, KS passed away at the age of 83 on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Courtyard of Natchitoches, LA.

She was the daughter of the late Claude Brock of Searcy, AR, and Wilma Emery of Hutchinson, KS. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter G. Durham, grandson David Anderson, granddaughter Dana Marie Taylor, daughter-in-law Susan Durham, and brother Eddie Ray Brock.

After the passing of her husband, she went to trade school and became an account clerk at the Northwestern State University, where she worked until her retirement. She also loved serving as a pink lady at the Natchitoches hospital. She was an active life time member of the Church of Christ, first in Winnfield and later in Natchitoches. Her greatest love was her family. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping trips, sports and anything her family was involved in. She also enjoyed crocheting-she made each of her grandchildren their own personal afghan. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her memory will be cherished forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
