Boehme Sr., Dennis Joseph SAN DIEGO -- Dennis Joseph Boehme Sr., born December 6, 1938, passed away December 24, 2013. He graduated from Armijo Union High School in 1957 and then served as a member of the U.S. Navy Patrol Squadron 48. He subsequently worked at NESEC until he retired. Dennis was a highly respected officer of the Elks Lodge-Escondido and achieved the position of Exalted Ruler. He also belonged to The Corvette Club of San Diego. He loved woodworking, fishing, hunting and most of all his family. Survived by wife Edie, sons, Dennis Jr., Mike (Christina), and Stephen. Cynthia Jeffery, Brad (Jeannette) Jeffery, five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. A service will be held on Thursday, January 9th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalene. 1945 Illion Street., San Diego, CA. 92110. Reception immediately following in the church hall. Burial 1:30 at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.
