Funeral services for Daniel Alexander Warren, 81, retired Bunker Hill farmer were held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at Bunker Hill Church of God, conducted by the Rev. J. W. McCollough, pastor of the church. Burial took place in Bee Spring Cemetery. Mr. Warren died at 8 o'clock on Wednesday night, July 19, at Giles County Hospital, after a ten day illness.
Born February 24, 1881, in Giles County, he was the son of the late Jim Warren and Mary Dale Warren, and was a member of the Church of God.
Mr. Warren is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alma Mitchell Warren; six daughters, Mrs. Claude Richardson and Mrs. Elbridge Pardon, Bunker Hill, Mrs. Marvin Wiser, McBurg, Mrs. Kenneth Barnes, Madison, and Mrs. Virgil Pruitt, Indianapolis, Ind. and Mrs. Luther Hodges, Anderson, Ind.; two sons, Leonard Warren, Anderson, Ind., and Leon Warren, Lewisburg; twenty-one grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Jim Sanders, Bunker Hill; and three brothers, Clay Warren, Bryson, Cleveland Warren, Pulaski, and Houston Warren, Bunker Hill. Pulaski Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
