William Lloyd "Koonie" Fason Jr., 72, of Enola, died Friday (May 17, 2002) at his home.

Born Aug. 28, 1929, in White County, he was a son of the late William Lloyd Fason Sr. and the late Pearl Hendrickson. He was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Ada Mae Fason of Enola; one daughter, Margaret and husband Andrew Shock of Enola; and one son, James "Buddy" and wife Kaye Fason of Enola; five brothers, J.D. Fason of Conway, L.D. Fason of Naylor, Johnny Fason of Houston, Texas, Chester "Check" Fason of Greeley, CO, and Ed Fason of Conway; one sister, Margie Baze of Mount Vernon; six grandchildren, Erin Belcher, Amber Fason, Andy, Derrick, Paula, and Todd Shock; and four great-grandchildren, Melissa Fason, Blake Belcher, and Ryan and Allison Shock.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Jesse Fason.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Rev. Patrick Baze and Rev. J.E. Barnard officiating.

Pallbearers will be Bob Fason, Jimmy Wooley, Marty Montgomery, Richard Day, and Rick and Eddie Fason. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Graig Cummins and James Allen Fason.

Interment will be at Romance Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roller-McNutt.
