Funeral services for L.D. Dudley, 73, of Owens Cross Roads near Huntsville and a former resident of Anniston, were held Wednesday at Oak Bowery Methodist Church. Burial was in Byrd Cemetery.
Mr. Dudley, who died at his residence suddenly on Monday, was born in Piedmont and had operated garages in Anniston, having been a mechanic. He left here about 15 years ago.
Survivors include the widow Mrs. Leona Dudley; two daughter, Mrs. Lola Liner and Mrs. Grace Chastain, both of Anniston a son, olan Dudley of Anniston two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Lindsey of Trion, Ga; and Mrs. Alma Hall of Piedmont; a brother, Walter Dudley of Chattanooga, Tenn,;seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The Revs. Harry Mullins and Roy Stone officiated at the funeral.
