"The remains of Mrs. Martha Ford were brought to Savannah from St Joseph and were interred in the Savannah cemetery. She died at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. I. B. Taylor, and was seventy-seven years old. She was found dead on the floor and the physician stated that life had been extinct about two hours. Mrs. Ford had been as well as usual. She died Tuesday and was buried Friday." Savannah Reporter (Savannah, Missouri), October 6, 1911

Martha's surname is listed as Lauer on her death certificate. It is spelled Shaner on her marriage license. At this point, I'm not sure which is correct. Any information would be appreciated.
