Funeral services for Mr. Donald Kenneth Bybee, age 71, of Monroe will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 4, 2014 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Marlon Winningham officiating. Burial will be in the George Stover Cemetery in Monroe. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5 until 9 p.m.

Mr. Bybee passed away January 1, 2014 at his home. He was born April 25, 1942 in Overton County to the late Frank & Maude Ledbetter Bybee. He was lineman at a sawmill and a cab driver.

He was affiliated with Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses.

He is survived by step-daughters, Sheena Hummel of Monroe, Sheryl & Tim Carner Of Garden City, MI, Sandy & Chris Hargis of Monroe, and Sherry & Travis Peek of Rickman; brothers, Michael Bybee of Livingston, Roger & Linda Bybee of Hilham, and Doak & Linda Bybee of Allons; a sister, Shirley Hammock of Livingston; and 10 step-grandchildren & 8 step-great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife: Betty Lucille Bybee, sisters: Faye Matthews, Anna B. Richardson, Betty Long, & Lola Bybee, and brothers: Woodrow, Grady, & Ronald Bybee.
