Services for Mrs. Frona A. Ames were held in the First United Methodist Church in Ranger where she was a member. She moved to Ranger in 1918. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a Gold Star Mother. One son, Lt. J.B. Ames, Jr., preceded her in death. Survived by two daughters - Doris Herrington, Betty Sue Brown; five brothers - Moody Carr, Stanton Carr, Herman Carr, Oscar Carr, John Carrr; three sisters - Mrs. Clyde Compton, Mary Cheney, Mrs. Tennie Merrick; seven grandchildren.
