CHARLES CARTON DIES
Charles Carton, 60, died Monday from pneumonia. He had been in poor health since he suffered a stroke three years ago. He formerly resided at Quincy. In August he returned from San Francisco, Calif., where he had spent some time with his daughter, Mrs. Inez McGeever.
Surviving are two daughters, and one son all of California. His wife preceded him in death many years ago.
The funeral services were held this Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at the Methodist Church in Quincy. Interment was in the Quincy Cemetery.

Charlie Carton formerly lived in Toronto and operated the blacksmith shop here for several years. He is well known in this community.
