Georgia Mae Singer, 92, of Proctorville, OH., passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at Rivers Bend Health Care Center, South Point, Ohio.
She was born December 21, 1921, daughter of the late Caughlia and Gracie Ferris Hunt.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Edward Adkins, Sr., son-in-law Fred Hayes, Sr., and nine siblings.
She was a member of Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church and was an avid bowler.
She is survived by her daughter Patty Hayes of Proctorville, OH., her son Paul Adkins, Jr., of Clay County, WV., two grandchildren, Freddie (Bethany) Hayes and Jama (Frank) Whittaker, four great-grandchildren, Kayla and Meranda Hayes, Cole Whittaker, Amanda (Robby) Mattix, one great-great-grandson, Gabe Mattix, one sister, Geneva Shank, one brother, Paul Hunt, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, January 5, 2013, at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Brady Lipscomb. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio.
