Her husband was a farmer and she appears in the 1850 Census, - Kanawha Co, VA #406-410 and the 1860 Census, - Kanawha Co, VA #1202. Elizabeth and her husband's grave were moved from the Blaine Cemetery, on Blaine Island in South Charleston, WV. Elizabeth was also married to a Rev. Andrew Jackson Compton M.D. He was a Presbyterian minister and medical doctor, and they lived in San Diego, CA for a time.
