Albert M. Cilley of Peterson died Sunday evening after a long and painful illness. The remains were brought to Sutherland on the morning train Tuesday and buried in the cemetery here, the funeral services being held at the Christian church. Rev. Leichliter of Peterson preached the sermon. The exercises were in charge of the Knights of Pythias of Peterson and Sutherland, assisted by the Odd Fellows of this place.

Mr. Cilley was born in Wisconsin in 1847 (to William and Roxana Castle Cilley), and was married there to Miss Sarah Bark. He moved to Sutherland in 1882, just as the town was starting, and was in business here until five years ago when he moved to Peterson. He was at one time Mayor of Sutherland and was highly respected by all who knew him. His wife and four children mourn him.
