Survived by brother, Frank Deloske of Louisville, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph Buras; brothers, Joseph Deloske, John Deloske and Anthony Deloske; sisters, Ann Fedde and Margaret Simmons; parents, John Deloske Sr. and Stella Deloske. Stella was born on September 10, 1922 in South Omaha, Nebraska to John and Stella Deloske. She attended Holy Ghost Catholic School until 1932, when she moved with her family to a farm south of Gretna. In 1937, she graduated from Brush College District #10 country school. She helped to support the family farm and worked for the Cudahy Packing Plant in South Omaha for more than 20 years. Stella was married to Joe Buras on June 16, 1961. On their farm near Schramm Park, they raised livestock with grains they produced organically. They farmed with a deep respect for their land and tried to not only protect, but to improve the environment. They were true conservationists. When Joe passed away in 1982, Stella reluctantly left the farm. After learning to drive at the age of 62, she lived independently in Springfield where she became a member of the Springfield American Legion Auxiliary and a devoted parishioner of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. In 2012, she moved to the Louisville Care Center in Louisville. She enjoyed doing sewing and craft work but never lost her love for the outdoors and farm life. Stella was a hardworking farm wife and a wonderful aunt. On December 27, she passed away at the age of 91. VISITATION with Family 5-7pm Thursday at Roeder Gretna Chapel with Rosary at 7pm. FUNERAL MASS 10:30am Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 102 S. 9th Street, Springfield, NE, Interment Springfield Memorial Cemetery.
