Julia P. Salmons, age 96, of Fulton, Missouri passed away on Monday, December 30 ,2013 at Fulton Manor.
Julia was born January 17, 1917. in Fulton, Missouri, the daughter of the late William and Lottie(Harris) Morris. On October 7 1933 she was united in marriage to Raymond J. Salmons in Fulton. He preceded her in death on January 7, 1999.
She is survived by three sons, Orvel Salmons (Helen), Lain Salmons (Patricia) both of Fulton, Missouri and Douglas Salmons (Glenda)of New Bloomfield, Missouri; one daughter, Shirley Staats (Hugh)of Fulton, Missouri; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Elvira Hockemeyer; two brothers, Elwood Morris and Charlie Morris; one sister Virginia Morris.
Julia was a homemaker. She was a member of Church of God Holiness.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m. Friday, January 3, 2014, at the Debo Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5:00-7:00p.m. at the funeral home.
