Billie (Braswell) Donaldson, 83, of Twin City, Georgia, died Monday evening, September 16, 2013 at UPAC Nursing Home in Swainsboro under the care of United Hospice. Her family was at her bedside. She was a member of the Friendship Freewill Baptist Church in Twin City.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents Ben and Ruby (Portwood) Braswell, her husband James Donaldson, and her brothers Arthur, Ted, and David Braswell. She is survived by two brothers, one son, three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday at the Wood Funeral Home with burial at Rosemary Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The Wood Funeral Home in Metter, Georgia was in charge of arrangements.
