Bonnie Jean Gossard, 76, of Martinsburg, W.Va., passed away Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, at her home.

Born Jan. 10, 1935, in Washington County, Md., she was the daughter of the late Richard S. and Mary V. Davis Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Leroy Gossard, in 1997.

She was employed by Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown, Md., until her retirement.

Survivors include daughter, Sherry A. Taylor of Martinsburg; son, Terry A. Gossard of Hagerstown; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Larry N. Gossard; a sister, Helen J. Anderson; and a brother, James E. Anderson.

The family will receive friends at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, Md., on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral home will be open after 9 a.m. Thursday for the convenience of family and friends.

The family requests the omission of flowers. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 122 Waverly Court, Martinsburg, WV 25403.
