Sam was the son of the late James B. Crawford Sr. and Doris L. Small Crawford.
He was employed with David L. Buckley Construction LLC in Gettysburg. He had served in the United States Navy.
He is survived by one son, Shane R. Crawford of Hanover; one daughter, Sarah M. Crawford of Hanover; one sister, Susan E. Crawford of York; and two brothers, James B. Crawford of York and John K. Crawford of Hanover.
