Services for Richard Schroder, 34, Houston, Texas, who died July 1, 1985, in Houston, were held Saturday, July 6, in the First Lutheran Church in Blair. The Rev. Carl Schattauer, Jr., officiated and burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Schroder was born Aug. 31, 1950, in Omaha, the son of William and Helen Schroder.

He was a social worker at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Schroder is survived by his mother, Helen, of Omaha, and two brothers, Robert of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and John of Fort Collins, Colo.

Pallbearers were Jay Anderson, Duane Otten, Kevin Welsch, Mike Lorcheck, Dennis Varley, and Darrell Seidler. Honorary pallbearers were Steve Arvanette, Kirby Rockwell, Joe Malch, Jr., Dick Billingsley, Alan Conrad and Bruce Owens.


Organist was Clare Cowing and vocalists were Dennis and Kate Varley.
