Eunice (Alvord) Lennon, 94, of West Lafayette, died at 4:05 AM Wednesday, April 24, 1996, in Lafayette Home Hospital. Born June 30, 1901, in Bement, IL, she had lived in the Lafayette area since 1913, and was a 1920 graduate of Jefferson High School. She married Paul J. Lennon in 1944, in Chicago; he died in 1977.
Mrs. Lennon worked at General Telephone from 1934 until 1944, then at Haywood Publishing Co. for 20 years, and at Lafayette Loan and Trust for three years. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and West Lafayette Bridge Club. She played golf and did volunteer work.
Surviving are a brother, Oscar Alvord of Rockport, TX; a sister, Lucille (Mrs. Harold) Ulume of Greencastle; two nephews and two nieces.
