OBITUARY:
Mrs. David A. LaShelle
Mrs. David A. LaShelle, 57, Freeport route 2, died at 10 o'clock this morning at her home as the result of a heart ailment. Chief Deputy Sheriff Alvin Stine and Fireman Al Washburn, Jr., attempted to revive her with an inhalator but failed.
Bertha Kracht was born June 30, 1894, in Freeport, the daughter o Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kracht. She married David A. LaShelle in 1916.
Surviving are her husband; a son Robert R. LaShelle, Freeport, and four grandchildren.
her husband operated a garage on the Pearl City road. Mrs. LaShelle was a member of Zion Reformed church.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Walker mortuary. Rev. C.M. Grahl, pastor of Zion Reformed church will officiate. Burial will be in City cemetery.
