Born Oct. 6, 1909 in Greene County, he was the son of Harley and Nellie (Love) Ham.
He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service after over 30 years of service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Linton; F&AM Lodge 560 of Linton since 1940; and was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include, his son and daughter-in-law, Harley and Anita Ham of Indianapolis; one daughter and son-in-law, Adrianne and Robert Hunter of Indianapolis; half brother, Willard Ham of Chatsworth, Calif.; six grandchildren, Jeffrey and Brian Hunter, Jennifer Camden, Michelle Wright and David Ham of Indianapolis; Douglas Ham of Castle Rock, Co.; 16 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Marie (Brown) Ham, and his parents.
Funeral services will be at Welch & Cornett Linton Chapel at 1 p.m. on Saturday with the Rev. David Tyra officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
