Andrew J. Tobias Jr., 41, of Bayville, died Christmas Day in the Community Medical Center in Toms River surrounded by his loving family.


Born in Trenton and a long time area resident

Andy was employed by Plumbers and Pipefitters Local No 9 as a Journeyman Mechanic.

Andrew is survived by his parents, Andrew J. Tobias, Sr., and Christa Nelson Tobias of Yardville,
his siblings, Pamela and Christopher Baldassari of Hamilton and Richard J. Tobias of Yardville, his fiancee, Laura Monica Parsons, daughter, Maeve Tobias, stepchildren, Jamison Ream and Joseph Ream all of Bayville, two nephews, Barry Wyckoff and Dominic Baldassari, two nieces, Vanessa Baldassari and Olivia Tobias, and several aunts and uncles and many friends.

Everyone he met became a friend for life. Andy had an infectious smile that could light up a room. He was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan and a sports memorabilia collector. He played baseball with Trenton PAL and the Trenton Babe Ruth League. He was a devoted member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local No.9 and loved his craft.

Laura Monica Parsons was the love of his life and soul mate. Andy adored his family, his friends, and especially his children. He will be sadly missed by everyone.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 30, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Hartmann Memorial Home, 2830 Nottingham Way. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamilton.
