Edith M. Harris, 83 of Sandborn, passed away Sunday October 30th, 2005 in Vincennes, Indiana. She was born on January 19, 1922 in Greene County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Coy Williams and Sadie (Spencer) Williams. She married James C. Harris (Deceased) on July 28, 1987 and became a homemaker. She was a member of the Sandborn Christian Church. She is survived by her, two sons, Ruben C. (Clara Ann) Harris of Sandborn, IN and Ralph D. (Elizabeth) Harris of Sandborn, IN and, her daughter, Ruth Ann (Richard) Mortland. She is also survived by her three sisters Anna Mae Waggner, Clara Belle McKee, and Eloise Sanders all of Sandborn, IN. Edith has 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grand children. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband James C. Harris, and one daughter Reba Nell Harris. Friends may call from 4:00pm till 8:00pm Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at Anderson Poindexter Memory Chapel. Services are Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at 10:00am with Pastor Larry Martin and Rev. Mike Roth officiating. Burial will follow at Sandborn Cemetery in Sandborn, IN.
