Aro A. Aiken, a retired farmer of
Perry 'died Thursday afternoon at his
home in Perry Center, aged 64 years.
Mr. Aiken was born at East Rapids.
Michigan, August 27. 1848. When a
young man he came to this section and
started farming. His wife, Mrs. Ann
Aiken, died in July, 1907. He leaves
six sons, William and Adelbert, of
Warsaw; Lawrence, Arthur, Horace
and David Aiken, of Perry, and six
daughters Mrs. Grace Austin, of Dale;
Mrs. Cora Wilcox, Mrs. Martha Pierce,
Mrs. Theresa Reddance and Mrs. Clara
Clute, Perry, and Anna Aiken, of
Perry Center. The funeral was held
from the late residence on Saturday
afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev F. A.
Kimberley, of the Congregational
Church of Perry Center, officiating,
Burial was made in Prospect cemetery,
Perry Center.
