MARCIA GLASS - Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. at the Wheelock-Allen Funeral home on Friday for Mrs. Marcia Glass of Rt. 2, Rock Falls, who passed away Tuesday morning, (19 Sep 1961) Rev. Ridell A. Kelsey of the First Methodist Church of Sterling, officiating, with burial in Riverside Cemetery at Prophetstown. Mrs. Wayne E. Larson was at the organ with Herman Oltman singing Someday We'll Understand and Beautiful Isle of Somewhere. Pallbearers were all grandsons. They were Ronald Glass, Robert Schobinger, Robert Ellis, Edward Burkhardt, John Burkardt and Llewellyn Meenen. Flowers were taken care of by Mrs. Dick McFalls and Mrs. Robert Gaulrapp. Out of town relatives attended from New Brighton, Minn., Whiting, Ind., Savanna, Freeport, West Brooklyn, Lee Center, Boulder, Colo., Columbus, Miss., Nelson and Rockford.
