Adolph and Josephine Benes, of Valparaiso, peacefully passed away on December 25, 2013, surrounded by family members at their home, til death do us part. Adolph was born on October 30, 1922 to Joseph and Aloisia (Divis) Benes. Josephine was born on September 11, 1927 to John and Frances (Dvorak) Walla.
They are survived by: sons, Valerian Benes and fiance Karen Gade of Lincoln, Harvey (Denise) Benes of North Platte, daughters, Elaine (Donald) Olson of Valparaiso, Marilyn Kinoshita and significant other Les Wright of Visalia, Calif., Josephine's sisters, Margaret Masek and Lillian Pekarek of Valparaiso, grandchildren, mother, Kathy Benes, Jonathan Benes, Mitchell Benes, Kelli Thelen, Stephanie Benes, Marion's children, Amy Tichota, Jason Benes and Marion's former wife, Alice and seven great grandchildren. They are preceded by their parents, twin daughters, Janet and Janelle and son, Marion Benes.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Wadlow Rozanek Funeral Home, 424 Pine, Valparaiso, NE. Rosary will be at 7:00 pm on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Sts. Mary and Joseph Catholic Church in Valparaiso. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Monday, December 30, 2013 at Sts. Mary and Joseph Catholic Church with Msgr. Witt as Celebrant.
