Mrs. Polly Ann Fletcher, 88, of Cedar City, died Monday at a hospital in Fulton. Mrs. Fletcher was born March 4, 1876, in Moniteau County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Coots. She was married March 8, 1904, also in Moniteau County, to John Henry Fletcher. He preceded her in death.

She spent most of her life in Cedar City and was a member of the Cedar City Baptist Church.

She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Smith of Slater, Mrs. Henry Ousley of Jamestown and Mrs. Myrtle Sims of Columbia; two brothers, James Coots of New Bloomfield and Emmett Coots of Elston; six daughters, Mrs. Ira Waller of Cedar City, Mrs. George Harmon of Linn, Mrs. Cortez Kirchner of Russellville, Mrs. Monroe Woods of Hartsburg, Mrs. George Kirchner of Hartsburg and Mrs. John Morris of Holts Summit; one son, Walter Fletcher of Holts Summit; 21 grandchildren and a dren.

The body is at a local funeral home where it will lie in state from 2 p.m. today until funeral services at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Charles Hanna and the Rev. Dale Norfolk will officiate. Burial will be in the Hart Hill Cemetery.
