A native of Montgomery County, Tenn., he was born Feb. 5, 1929, the son of the late Dewey Brown and Earlene Shemwell Brown Lawrence. He was retired from Western State Hospital and was an Army veteran.
Survivors include a brother, Jerry Brown, Hopkinsville, and a sister, Mrs. Kenny (Betty) Rogers, Cadiz.
