Mrs. Fred Graneman.
Funeral services for Mrs. Fred Graneman, age 39, who died Tuesday, Dec. 21, at the Rochester Colonial Hospital, Rochester, Minn., following a six week illness caused by peritonitis, were held at 2 o'clock Friday at the Sundeth Funeral Home, Minneapolis, a Lutheran pastor officiating. Burial being made in Sundeth Cemetery. Beauiful floral tributes expressed the respect and esteem of her many friends grieved by her untimely death just in the prime of life.
Amanda Johnsson, daughter of Mrs. Ida Johnson, Route 7, of Menomonie Junction, was born September 6, 1898, in this city. She attended the Menomonie public schools and when a young girl left for Minneapolis where she was employed until her marriage November 8, 1922 to Fred
Graneman, at Minneapolis. Mr. and Mrs. Graneman have always made Minneapolis their home. Mrs. Graneman was beloved by all who knew her, friends, both young and old alike, were won and kept by her cheerful and genial personality.
The home was her sphere and her joy. She lived for her family, the love for her dear ones glowed in her sympathies and reigned in her thoughts and deeds. The departed, lately the light and joy of her home, was deeply concerned about the welfare and happiness of those whom she loved.
The deceased is survived by her husband and mother, two sisters, Esther (Mrs. Manley Fossen) Downing; Agnes, this city; and two brothers. Griffin and Alvin (sic..Elvin), also of Menomonie, one nephew, Manley Fossen Jr., Downing, and a host of friends and relatives.
