Funeral services for Edwin A. Putnam, 78, native and lifelong resident of Clements, will be held tomorrow at 3 pm in the chapel of B. C. Wallace & Son. The Rev. Noel Breed will officiate. Committal will be in Clements.
Born on the Putnam ranch near Clements, Putnam had lived in the same house throughout his life, until his recent retirement because of ill health. Putnam operated the ranch now being managed by his son, Lawrence Putnam, Clements.
Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. Ed Albertson of Stockton, and his son. He was the brother of Mrs. Jack Donaghuay, Berkeley.
