Greenville (Texas) Morning Herald, Fri, 4 Jul 1924, page 8, PROMINENT LADY DIED THURSDAY, MRS. ADDIE MAE GLAWSON DIED AT THE FAMILY HOME AT SALEM THURSDAY

Mrs. Addie May Glawson, aged fifty years, died at the famiy home at Salem Thursday afternoon shortly after 4 o'clock following a long illness. Funeral services will be held at the Church of Christ this afternoon at 4 o'clock and will be conducted by Rev. Ed Elkins of Oklahoma. Interment will follow in Forest Park cemetery.

Mrs. Glawson was prior to her marriage, Miss Addie May Pugh and was born and reared in this county. She united with the church more than thirty-one years ago and throughout her life was a conscientious christian character.

Mrs. Glawson is survived by her husband, J.W. Glawson, two sons, Homer and Claude Glawson, six daughters, Mrs. Lilly Barker, Mrs. Vera Duncan, Mrs. Essie Robinson and Misses Grace, Hazel and Gaynelle Glawson, all of who were at the bedside when the end came.
