John Heezen
Final Rites Set
At Plankinton
Funeral services for John Heezen, 85, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church with the Rev. Russell Peirce officiating.
The body will lie in state Sunday from 7:30 - 9 p.m. at the Cazer Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Armour cemetery.
Mr. Heezen was born Sept. 7, 1881 at Crete, Neb. to Mr. and Mrs. Dirk Heezen and died April 6 at a Mitchell hospital.
Survivors include five sons, Richard, Armour; Ray, Miller, and Ed, Merle and Clarence, Plankinton; three daughters, Mrs. Lorrie (Lena) Zindel, and Mrs. Bernice Titze, Plankinton, and Mrs. Willis (Hazel) Harmon, Starr, Idaho.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1965 and by three children.
