Sr. Funeral services for David Eugene Henderson Sr., 53, West Plains, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Mr. Henderson died 9:15 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2005, in his home. He was born February 22, 1952, in Marshfield, Missouri, to Mary Lula (Jemes) Henderson and the late Bobbie "Bob" Gene Henderson. He graduated from the West Plains High School with the Class of 1971. In 1970, Mr. Henderson married Martha Hays. On May 25, 1986, he was married in West Plains, Missouri, to Tammy Doss. He was owner and operator of West Plains Glass, working with his uncle, Gene Day. He was a cattle and hog farmer and was owner and operator of Henderson Farms. Mr. Henderson was a Mason and a member of the Elks Lodge. He was a member of Berean Baptist Church. He loved his grandchildren, and was a wonderful husband, son, father, grandfather, and brother. Mr. Henderson is survived by his wife, Tammy Henderson, of the family home; three children, David Henderson Jr., wife, Michelle, Denny Henderson, all of West Plains, and Ashley Fredrick, husband, Devlin, Virginia Beach, Virginia; three grandchildren, Taylor Henderson, Tafton Henderson and McKenzie Roberts; his mother, Mary Henderson, West Plains; two sisters, Deborah French, husband, Thomas, West Plains, and Diana Block, husband, Larry, Carthage, Missouri; his nieces and nephews, Brittany, Clint, Rayce, Reggie, Brook and Chad; one greatniece, Gracie; and expecting a great-niece or greatnephew. His grandparents and father precede him in death. Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery.
