CHRISTINA S. BURTON, 56, of Ossian, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at her home. Born Feb. 27, 1957, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of Gerald I. and Arlene L. Gran of Wolcott ville. She was the head cook at Ossian Elementary School. She enjoyed crafts and putting puzzles together, along with spending time with her granddaughters. She is also survived by her son, Coty Burton of Ossian; daughter, Angela (Ray) Riner of Fort Wayne; granddaughter, Sophia Riner; stepgranddaughters, Jennifer and Korena Riner; and sister, Nina L. Roach of New Haven. She was preceded in death by her brother, Roland L. Gran. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, with calling one hour prior, at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 W. Mill St., Ossian (IN 46777). Visitation also from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Visiting Nurse, American Cancer Society , or the family.
