Elmira (Roland), widow of Amos Madary, died Thursday afternoon at her home, 343 South Eighteenth street, aged 89 years, 6 months and 29 days. She was a daughter of the late Charles and Eliza (Eshbach) Roland, and was a member of St. John's Reformed Church. There survive these children: Catherine, widow of Edwin Strunk; Emma, wife of William F. Harner; Rebecca, widow of Arthur Hagenman, all of Reading; Annie, wife of Jacob B. Mertz, Wildwood, N. J.; Charles H. R., Harry I., Howard P. and Peter E., all of Reading; 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one sister, Miss Sallie E. Roland, Reading.
Funeral directors John F. Lutz and Son are in charge.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral without further notice, from the Lutz Funeral Home, 2100 Perkiomen Ave., on Monday, at 2 p. m. Interment in Aulenbach Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home Sunday evening from 7 to 9.
