Benjamin Craig Talbert, son of Benjamin and Martha (Drake) Talbert was born July 1, 1855 in Greenville, Kentucky. He died September 18, 1944 north of Wayne City. He married Ada Clara Scudamore March 10, 1878. They had six children: Elmer, who died at the age of two weeks; Eva Samford of Fairfield; Dessie Johnson, Joseph, Leslie and Norvall, all of wayne City. He also leaves an aged brother, Austin of wayne City. the widow is now making her home with Joseph.
