Mrs. White was born December 30, 1932 in West Columbia, Texas, the daughter of the late Daisy Bell (Nesbett) and F. C. Burford. She passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013 in a local hospital.
Mrs. White was a homemaker and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was very family oriented and highly regarded among her peers. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church, which she loved and was very active. She loved her dog 'Little Man'. She also enjoyed sewing.
Survivors include her husband, John White; daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and LaMar Williams and Paula and Freddie Sullivan, all of Lufkin; grandsons, Heath Ryan Allen and James Sutton; great-granddaughter, Naomi Rhea Allen; great-grandson, Lance William Allen; great-great grandson, Bentley I. Shane Nash; stepsisters, Ruby Jeanette Hargrave and Elvelyn Able; and a number of other family members.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. White was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruby Eversole, Elsie McCagg, and Dorothy Armstrong; and brothers, Sam Burford and Jessie Burford.
