Daughter of Joseph and Anna Reighard. Wife of Joseph Bailey. Mother of George, Cora Grove, Mary McMasters, William, John F., Henry and Della Weaver.


Altoona Mirror, 3 April 1915:

"Mrs. Nancy Linda Bailey, wife of Joseph Bailey, a well known resident of Shawville, near Loop station, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Cora Grove, at Loop station at 3:15 o'clock yesterday afternoon of Bright's disease after an illness of a year and a half's duration. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Reger, and was born at Milroy, Mifflin county, on Jan. 1, 1850. She had resided in Blair county for forty-five years, residing at Springfield mines until four years ago, when the family moved to Shawville. She is survived by her husband and seven children as follows: George, of Berwind-White, Mrs. Cora Grove and Mrs. Mary McMaster, of Loop, William and Mrs. Della Weaver, of Frankstown, Fred, of Altoona, and Harry, of Bellefonte. Two brothers and two sisters also survive. They are: Joseph and Margaret, of Milroy; Rebecca, of Bellefonte and Harvey, who resides in Maryland. She was a consistent member of the Hollidaysburg Baptist church. The funeral cortege will leave the late home on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock and proceed to the Frankstown Methodist Episcopal church, where services will be held. Interment in Geeseytown cemetery."
