STAUNTON — Carl Alfred Bosserman, 79, husband of Joyce (Vest) Bosserman, of 1627 Packard Street, died Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, at his residence.
He was born March 24, 1934, in Middlebrook, a son of the late Steve and Elizabeth Bosserman.
Mr. Bosserman was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Prior to retirement, he was employed by Smith's Transfer.
In addition to his wife, family members include a son, Casey Bosserman of Staunton; a stepdaughter, Debbie Ashworth of Florida; two brothers, Pete Bosserman of Waynesboro and Forrest Bosserman of Stoney Creek and a granddaughter, Blair Bosserman of Austin, Texas.
He was preceded in death by seven brothers and a sister.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens by the Rev. James Crewe.
