DEATHS and FUNERALS

LEE E. WINFIELD RITES SATURDAY
Services for Lee Edwin Winfield, 71, 1318 W. Walnut, who died Thursday in a local hospital will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the West SideWesleyan Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon cemetery, Billings, under the direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.

A native of Hennessey, he had lived in Oklahoma all his life. He moved to Lamont in 1903 and in 1918 he moved to Billings where he lived until 1931 when he moved to Enid.

He was a retired employee of the Texaco Propane Co., a member of the Methodist Chruch and a past Grand Master of the IOOF Lodge in Billings. He was preceded in death by a son and a sister.

He is survived by his widow, Gertrude, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Gladys) Durham, Mrs. Arthur (Deane) Eck, both of Enid; two sons, Roy and Floyd, both of Enid; a sister, Mrs. Vada Landes, Ponca City; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren."
