Mrs. Daisy I. Barton
Mrs. Daisy Iona Barton, 73, of Minden passed away at 11:30 p.m. August 8 at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport following a short illness.
She was a native of Waldo, Ark., a housewife and a member of the Parkway Baptist Church.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Rose-Neath Chapel with Rev. Don Woodard officiating. Interment was in the Brushwood Cemetery.
Survivors include five sons, Charles Barton, Vernon Dale Barton and Bobby Barton all of Minden; David Barton of Haughton and Donald Barton of Dubberly; six daughters, Earline Roland of Seagraves, Tx., Claudine Robinson of Winnsboro, LaVerne Springfield, Denham Springs, Mary Moore, Betty Perryman, and Gay Batton all of Minden; three sisters, Dessie Stuart of Minden, Lessie Robinson and Ela Stewart, both of Phoenix, Arizona; three brothers, Boyd Nesbit of Marshall, Tx., Herbert Nesbit and Clebert Nesbit both of Minden; 33 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
