Janet M. Bulthaus, 88, died Sat. Dec. 21, 2013 in Franklin Grove Nursing Home. She was born Feb. 25, 1925 in Mt. Carroll, IL the daughter of George & Geneva (Bird) Miller. She was a 1942 graduate of Oregon High School and married Robert L. Bulthaus in Chana on Oct. 9, 1943; he died in 1985. Janet was a quality auditor at Quebecor in Mt. Morris and was a member of Chana United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, and gardening.
Survivors include her daughter, sons, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Doris Grover Stevens.
Funeral services will be held Friday Dec. 27, 2013 at 10:30 AM, preceded by visitation from 9:30 AM until service time, in Chana United Methodist Church. Pastor Javier Martinez will officiate. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Chana United Methodist Church.
