REIDSVILLE- Opal Johnson Gann, 80, of 1708 South Park Drive, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at Moses Cone Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday. March 13, 2006, at Baptist Temple Church. Interment will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Gann was born in Rockingham County to the late Booser and Martha Wall Johnson. She was a retiree of The American Tobacco Company with 33 years service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Esker and Floyd Johnson.

Survivors include her husband, Tyler V. Gann of the home; daughters, Toneka Bryant and husband Frank of Greensboro and Denise G. Parks of Reidsville; grandchildren, Kasonya Tallent, Roan Pruitt and wife Sherry, Stephanie Pezzo and husband Mark and Lauren Parks and fiance Jay Golding; great grandchildren, Jessica Pruitt, Brandy Pruitt and William Pruitt; brother Rev. Troy Johnson and wife Marie; sister Stella J. Best; sister-in- law Polly Johnson all of Mayodan.

The family will receive friends Sunday, March 12, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the residence.

Wilkerson Funeral Home is serving the family.
