Marema Free Milam, 99, resident of 408 North Church Street, widow of Henry Harrison Milam, Jr. died December 19, 2013 at her home. Born in Ninety Six, October 11, 1914, she was a daughter of the late William Jefferson and Mary Elizabeth Coleman Free. A member of Ninety Six Presbyterian Church, Mrs. Milam was also a member of the American Legion Post #103 Auxiliary. Survivors include three children, Jeff Milam and wife Suzanne, Judy Ouzts and husband Alton, both of Ninety Six and Henry H. Milam, III and wife Sally of Midlothian VA; seven grandchildren, John Milam of Greenwood, Mimi Pope and husband John, with whom Mrs. Milam made her home, Julie Christopher and husband Dee of Fort Mill, Tee Timmerman and wife April of Ninety Six, Jennifer Lawson and husband Doug of Uganda, Lynn Murphy and husband Mike of Midlothian VA and Hank Milam and wife Ashley of Midlothian VA; and twenty-one great grandchildren. Entombment in Edgewood Cemetery Mausoleum. Blyth Funeral Home.
