Betty was born in Detroit on September 3, 1924, a daughter of the late William and Fern Ethel (Beebe) Packer. She was united in marriage to Lynne Ersig who preceded her in death on January 21, 1960. Betty later married George Lesnau who preceded her in death on April 17, 1998. Betty had worked for many years for Michigan Bell and was the first woman Manager of the "Yellow Pages" retiring in 1973. She enjoyed bowling, golf, crossword puzzles, cooking and baking and was known for her specialty cakes in her younger years. She was very proud of her accomplishments as she raised her family alone after being widowed at a young age. She always put her family first and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
