Funeral services were at the Aaseth Funeral Home with the Rev. A.W. Peters officiating. Burial was in the Wolsey Cemetery.
Sadie L. Brown was born Feb. 26, 1882, to Mr. and Mrs. George H. Brown at Capac, Michigan. At the age of three she came to Wolsey with her parents and in 1902 was married to Edward L. Prose at Wolsey. They made their home in Huron, Wolsey and Nevada until 1924 when they moved to St. Louis. In 1948 they returned to Huron where they lived ever since. Mr. Prose died May 30, 1960. Mrs Prose was a member of the Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Miss Viavin L. Prose and Thelma, Mrs. John Bonesteel, both of Huron; one son, E.C. Prose, St. Louis; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lowell Prose, Wolsey; one brother, Guy R. Brown, Long Beach,Calif.. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one daughter.
