Funeral Services Held For Retired Farmer
Funeral services for A. L. (Lin) Bertholf, retired Kingman County farmer who died Saturday in Kingman Memorial Hospital as a result of accidental burns suffered in the yard of his home near Spivey, Kan., were held Tuesday afternoon at Spivey Methodist Church.
Mr. Bertholf was born near Toledo, Ohio, Oct. 1, 1871. He came to Sedgwick County in 1884. residing in this county until 1904 when he moved to a farm near Spivey where he resided until his death. He was a member of Spivey Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mable; a son, Dr. Lloyd Bertholf, Stockton, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Ada McClure, Cassville, Mo., and Mrs. Faye McCoy, Spivey; three brothers, Earl, of Spivey, Carl and Harry, both of Wichita, and a sister, Mrs. Esther Hess. Ft. Scott, Kan. Six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.
Livingston Mortuary, Kingman, Kan., was in charge of arrangements.
